This house has been full of sick little children the past 2 weeks. Ayden just completed 10 days of antibiotics for a double ear infection and they are both still infected. One even looks worse, so we started a different antibiotic last night. His nasty cough is much improved though. Then last week Trent and I both started coughing. So, I'm assuming Ayden just passed his on to us and now I think we have passed it on to Josh....lovely:) Trent had to go back to the doctor yesterday because his cough was worse and he started wheezing. He sounds so pitiful...he is hoarse from all the coughing. You can barely hear him when he crys. So, he is now taking albuterol treatments for a few days and antibiotics for his ear infection too. But, overall we are great. I really can't complain...there are so many worse things out there.

I hope everyone is having a great holiday so far. We still have some shopping to do this weekend. And its my year to work Christmas eve and Christmas day. But I do get to spend a few hours at home on Christmas morning with the boys to see what Santa brings them before heading off to work. We took the boys to see Santa a couple of weeks ago and thought Ayden would never sit in his lap. He whined the entire time we were in line, but Josh was giving him a pep talk for the whole 45mins we were in line and when we got up to Santa he just jumped up beside him and said he was helping santa hold Trent. It was so cute. Ayden is actually understanding the whole Christmas/Santa thing a bit more this year. He knows that Santa is coming to bring him toys and we have told him he has to leave his passy with Santa's cookies in order to get toys. He doesn't like that idea at all. When we bring that up he says he doesn't want any toys and that Trent can have his toys:) Trent is still growing like a weed. We even backed down on his cereal intake...since we went to the doctor at his 8 week check up and he was weighing in at 14lbs! 10% in height and 90% in weight...I guess we will have a little sumo wrestler in a few years:) He is such a great baby. Even while he has been sick this past week, he is still so easy and sleeps through the night every night...Ayden on the other hand never wants to get out of our bed and wakes up at least once every night:) He is such the typical 2 yr old.

Here are a few new pics...

I don't have a scanner, but I wanted to share this picture...So...I just took a picture of it myself!:)

Ayden still thinks he is hook:)

Time for an update...

Other than watching my 2 boys grow right in front of my eyes there is not too much to report. Our computer crashed right after my last post and we have just got it back...lost all of our pictures, music, everything...ughh. It's so frustrating. But luckily I have most all of the pictures saved on disks. The boys are doing great. Ayden was always a little guy...short and skinny. He continues to be that way. On the other hand Trent is short and FAT. At his 4 week check up he was already weighing in at a whopping 10lbs! He goes back next week for his 2 month check up...so we will see where he is. I can't believe what a chunk he is. I just wish they would be tall like there daddy instead of little short things like me:)
Hope everyone is doing well. I'm off to see the best 2 friends in the world welcome there little bundle of joy into the world today...well I hope its today...:) They are at the hospital now. Good luck Chris and Kasey. We love you 3 bunches!!! Here are a few pics of the last couple of weeks:

Last weekend we took Ayden to ride in the Bremen Town Festival Parade. He has been to one parade and loved it. Well he had a blast riding in the big truck and throwing candy. He doesn't quite have a strong enough arm yet so most of the candy landed right beside the truck or even under it sometimes...but we are working on that:) Plus his cousin Allie rode with us...Seeing her always makes his day! Here are a few pics...

Love that smirk...always up to something!

We also took the boys to the apple festival last weekend along with my grandmother (Jean Jean)..Ayden's name for her. Everyone else calls her Mama Jean...but Ayden changed that for us. I think Ayden had more fun than any of us. He was more interested in the arts and crafts than we were! Every booth that had animals he had to stop at and name all the animals and what sounds they made then he would run to the next booth and do it all over again....and if they were selling furniture he had to sit on each piece and test it out. Trent was awesome too! Not a peep out of him all day. If I hadn't been carrying him myself I might have forgot we even brought him. He is such a good baby. It was a long day and long drive, but worth every minute.

Can you tell he's mine:)

Picture Lily Photography!
We have fallen in love with our new photographer! She did Ayden's 2 year pics and even though he had an allergic reaction the night before and his eyes were severely swollen in the pictures we still came out with some great shots. So, we have signed Trent up as one of her baby planners and had our first set of pictures done last week. He was exactly 1 week old and she also took a few more shots of Ayden. Here are a few that she has posted on her website.

My favorite picture!

Once again I am attempting this blog thing. I gave it a good lazy go around when Ayden was born and failed miserably. Now with 2 growing boys I figured I should give it another shot. So, here we go.Trent Inman Haney
